Case Study: Enfin Energy Finance ATESS HPS 150kW 600kWh Solar MD Energy Storage

The project is a 150kW installed on a farm in Bloemfontein, South Africa. The project's goal was to provide energy arbitrage, power demand shaving, and load-shedding protection to the farm.

Challenge: The farm required a reliable and efficient energy solution to power their operations and reduce their dependence on grid-supplied electricity. The farm also needed to manage the power demand and protect against load shedding.

Solution: Enfin Energy Finance chose to use a combination of 600kWh Solar MD Energy Storage, a 200kWp PV system, and ATESS HPS 150kW to provide the energy solution. The system was designed to provide energy arbitrage by storing energy during off-peak hours and then using that energy during peak hours. The PV system and energy storage also provided power demand shaving by reducing the farm's dependence on grid-supplied electricity during peak hours. The system also provided load-shedding protection by ensuring a continuous power supply to the farm.

Results: The Enfin Energy Finance project was able to provide the farm with a reliable and efficient energy solution. The PV system and energy storage provided the farm with enough energy to run its operations and the energy arbitrage feature allowed them to reduce their dependence on grid-supplied electricity during peak hours.

The power demand shaving feature also reduced their electricity costs by reducing their dependence on grid-supplied electricity during peak hours. The load-shedding protection feature ensured a continuous power supply to the farm, providing additional security and reliability.

Enfin Energy Finance offered several financing options for the project, including Rent-to-Own, Roof Rentals, Hybrid
